Game of the Week: Pod-X

I'm trying to figure out what made me choose Pod-X to be the next game of the week. Maybe it's because I just saw Blade Runner 2049, and the cool schematic-looking starship art seemed like a good fit. Maybe it's because I saw Daniel Solis, the game's designer, posting pictures from his half-marathon on Twitter (congrats, Daniel!). Then again, maybe it's because I looked at the Game of the Week schedule and saw that Pod-X was next. But who knows, right? Life's a mystery.

Pod-X is set in our Pocket Universe, but not on the best of days. Your starship is going down. You (and everyone else!) need to find the last working escape pod before it’s too late. You know the ship like the back of your hand, but you also know that most of the pods are either gone or broken. You have to act now or you’ll be going down with the ship.

In Pod-X, you try to deduce the secret win condition card, while also trying to meet it. You will do this by playing your cards publicly (to the table) or keeping them private (in your hand). The dealer role passes to a new player each round. Only the dealer knows the secret, so players can also examine her actions for clues. Use your best deduction and wile to maximize your score!
