Wallet Games are now $15

Wallet games are going up to $15, and expansions are all going up by $1.

Yes, this is a bummer. We've been holding out. It’s been over 5 years since we’ve raised prices and it’s been a tough 5. The 30% tariffs are painful. We’ve absorbed that (as well as the 10%, 154% and everything in between) for a year and know that it’s unsustainable. But that’s not the only thing. Costs are currently high across the board and we want to make sure we aren’t pricing ourselves too low. It stinks, I know.

There are lots of ways to save money on wallet games. Some of these are known to some or all, others maybe not.

Kickstarter/Crowdfunding preorders are going to be $10 for a game, and max out at $14 for a game and expansion. This is a savings of $5-6 on a $15-20 purchase, which puts it close to 25-30% off retail at our crowdfunding pages. So hot tip: order early for the lowest price you’ll see.

The Board Game of the Month Club gets more discounts. Club Members already get the game as part of their rewards, but they also get solid coupon codes, some harder to find games and expansions, and an exclusive package for a year of activity. The club is US only, with UK on a trial period right now, but we are working on ways to expand everything we can.

During all crowdfunding campaigns we offer a 15% off code to our website. This helps drop the cost of each game down, and it’s usually active for the 10 days that the campaign runs, and then usually a week or two after as well. So if you keep an eye on our active crowdfunding campaigns, you can likely save a few bucks.

And if you can make it out to our retail store in NJ, all games are $10. It's a small perk to making that trek into South Jersey.

And then any other promotions we can offer. We’ll be bringing back the game of the week with limited copies of a single game available for just $10 for the week. We also have our big Black Friday sale with 25% off coupon codes. And hopefully more chances to drop below the MSRP.
