Zebra (with playsheets)
Zebra (with playsheets)
Each zebra has a unique arrangement of stripes. Create your own distinctive pattern to stand out from the crowd.
Zebra is an 18-card flip-and-write game that comes with a separate pad of small sheets. Flip cards to reveal polyomino shapes and add them to your sheet in one of the four different patterns. Maximize your points from each while keeping an eye on your total coverage, and make sure to keep each pattern separate in your quest to win!
Provide each player with a sheet and a pen.
Each turn, reveal a single card's polyomino shape. All players draw that shape using the open spaces on their own sheet, choosing which of the four patterns they use to fill the shape. It can be rotated and flipped, but cannot share an edge with a shape that has the same pattern.
Players may instead pass, filling an unfilled enclosed space formed by other shapes with circles instead. If a player cannot draw a shape or pass, they bust and receive an X on any one open space, with 3 Xs ending their game.
Once all players have filled their sheets (or received 3 Xs) each player scores their sheet using the four patterns' unique scoring descriptions (as well as the points lost from circles). The player with the highest total score wins the game.
