Holy moly. September was WILD and we received 228 entries for the Identical Card Game challenge. We've already started judging and it's amazing to see what everyone has come up with. This is the first of our new series of design challenges. They're small monthly contests for 18 card designs but with some unique additional restrictions. And we're starting off with a real hard one. Create an 18 card game where every card is identical. What does that even mean? Well, it means you have one card design, repeated 18 times. Button Shy is proud to announce that the next game in our Wallet Games series is Penny Rails, a 2 player game designed by Travis Hill (designer of Reunification and Butterfly Collector’s Club). Penny Rails is an 18-card game where players will be constructing rail tracks beginning at New York City and ending when the St. Louis hub is placed.
